Picnic at the vineyards – Ohrid valley private tour

Spend the afternoon enjoying the picturesque Ohrid courtyside with a wonderful picnic at the villa’s
vineyard fields. Just a short drive from the city of Ohrid and you will arrive at the traditional vineyards
where we cultivate our grape vines. Learn more about our vineyards and our wine production process,
you may even be able to see some more conventional agricultural methods still used in the surrounding
orchards and fields. We then take a seat in the shade of the wild plum trees to enjoy a lovely picnic,
complete with many traditional Macedonian and Ohrid specialties and accompanied by our wine, made
from the grapes of the very same vineyard.
The tour includes:

• Transfer from Ohrid to the vineyards in the village of Klimestani
• Short walk throughout and explanation of the traditional vineyard
• Picnic that includes: Shopska salad( Ohrid tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, onion and white sheep cheese), homemade Rakija, a local specialty gjomleze served with bieno sirenje(hard white cow cheese) and sour milk yogurt, homemade ajvar(pepper spread) served with sheep cheese and bread baked in a traditional wooden oven, smoked bacon with onions and bread baked in a traditional wooden oven, 2 glasses of vine, Ohridsko Cuvee (made from the grapes of the
  vineyard), dessert – tulumba and seasonal fruits
